Tanessa’s journey began in her grandmother Aquilla’s kitchen, where she started baking at a young age. Those moments of mixing, measuring, and creating something special sparked a love for baking that she has carried with her ever since. Each treat is crafted with the same love and dedication that her grandmother taught her. And one day, when her daughter is older, she hope to pass down everything she has learned to her, just as her grandmother did.

Tanessa is a passionate home baker based in Culver City, California, with a love for creating delightful treats that began in her grandmother Aquilla’s kitchen. Alongside her baking endeavors, she enjoys dabbling in crafting and is currently learning how to sew, adding another layer of creativity to her life. Balancing her time between her husband, James, and their daughter, Isabella, Tanessa is deeply connected to her family and community. Her small business, Tanessa’s Bakery, reflects her commitment to sharing the warmth of homemade goods. As she continues to grow in her baking and crafting skills, she looks forward to passing on these cherished traditions to her daughter.

James has run a business in some form since the age of 14. He is happy to bring his experience to this latest endeavor. Currently, he is the V.P. of Operations at Chromolume Theatre and Silver Lining Cleaning Services. He is also the President and CEO of Chromolume, Inc.
